RoidTest Vs. Lab Tests and What You Should Know

Roidtest and Labmax authenticity has been a huge debate in the bodybuilding industry for some time now. We will cover Roidtest vs Lab test and what you should know to make an educated decision when you decide to test your gear.

I started using Roidtest a few years back when someone from the bodybuilding circle claimed the products from the provider I was recommending wouldn’t RoidTest.

I had never used this product but was aware of it. I usually went by blood work and how I was doing with my cycle to verify my gear.

When I first started the Roidtest series I really liked the product and I absolutely loved that it was associated with William Llewellyn, the guy who wrote Anabolics, a book I had studied for years.

For the most part I liked the products. Some of the products I had tested didn’t have great results, while some had excellent results. Some of the stuff went in the trash, other stuff I used in my own cycles, some of it was given back to the person who asked me to test it.

Roidtest customer support was amazing and they are friendly helpful guys. They always helped me out with questions I had, and gave me direction with how to read and use the products. If I had a question about a test I had done on one of the Roidtest videos and I wanted confirmation, they were always happy to help out.

I did the tests sporadically for a few years as requested by email by readers of Secrets of Bodybuilding.

So many emails came in after we started doing the RoidTest Series from buyers buying from Naps. They were claiming that some of the stuff wasn’t Roidtesting. I can assure you that we weren’t getting any special treatment from Naps. Everything I showed on the Roidtest series was legit. They didn’t know I was ordering, and what and when I received anything.

Of course they wouldn’t offer anything but an email back to the buyers telling them to have it lab tested.

This is very common and no one selling gear will do differently.

It is a well-known FACT in the bodybuilding world that home test kits can be hit or miss.

I’m not saying not to buy a RoidTest kit or a Labmax kit, or whatever else is offered online.

What I am saying is just a simple FACT, you can’t get 100% proof off a home test kit.

They can work, but it may or may not be accurate.

A Few Ways People are Testing Without the Aid of Real Lab Results

BLOOD WORK

My all-time favorite, Blood work. Now I haven’t cycled in a long time now.

I stopped around the time of the COVID crisis and I’m just on TRT for health reasons.

Every few months I’ll have my blood work looked at by my doctor. If you are serious about your health this is key.

You will know exactly where you’re at with your health. I prefer to use the equalizer analogy.

Even in this advanced time most of you know what an equalizer is. If you don’t here is a picture of one like I see in my mind when referring to my blood work

When looking at your blood work, you will know exactly what levels you need to work on to “get your mix right” so to speak.

I would literally see if my testosterone was working just by my before cycle and on cycle blood work results.

And trust me, the cat will be out of the bag when you see a giant spike in your free testosterone level.

HOME TEST KITS

Kits like Roitest and Labmax are well known by the bodybuilding community, however like most products, some people like them, and some absolutely hate them.

The Pros:
They can work
They can show if a product is what it is
They are relatively inexpensive
They are fast and easily accessible

The Cons:
They aren’t 100% accurate
They can show if the product is what it says it is if they are working correctly
They can be inaccurate based on the carrier oils
They cannot show how much of the compound is in the product –(if its 250mg/ml or 90mg/ml)

Melting points of anabolic steroids

Convert Celsius to Fahrenheit:
1) Determine the temperature in Celsius
2) Using your calculator, multiply the temperature times 1.8
3) Add 32 to the result
4) Your final answer is the temperature in Fahrenheit

The Only True Way to Test Gear

LAB TESTING

As most of us know, the only true way to test your gear is by a REPUTABLE LAB.

That being said there needs to be some standards when picking one out to send your gear to.

Just like reviews, a lab can be manipulated to skew the test results in a UGL labs favor.

A few things you should do to see what labs are legit.

– The obvious is search Google for steroid testing labs and the like.

– Then cross reference bodybuilding forums and look for reviews of those labs to make sure they are of quality before wasting your time and money.

There have been many knock off labs over the years so make sure you get a quality lab to test your gear.

If someone is offering a very low cost lab test, chances are they aren’t worth dealing with.

Most lab tests run from 150 to 250 USD.

The Pros:
If the lab is legit you will know exactly what’s in the vial or pill
You  will know exactly what mg is being dosed.
You can see what other compounds are found during the test.
You can post the results online and receive the TEAMROIDS special offer.

The Cons:
Mostly the cost. Lab tests by a qualified lab are a little pricey. Expect to pay 150 to 250 USD.
